The Leaders of Our Team

J. Carl Franco, AIA, NCARB, LEED® AP has over 30 years of diversified architectural design and project management experience. Mr. Franco has been associated with JH&H since 1976. He has held major design responsibility on a wide variety of building types specializing in major religious, educational, government, office, and multi-use projects. As Principal-In-Charge, he has been directly responsible to the Owner for over $700,000,000 of project design. Mr. Franco is responsible for managing the firm’s design to ensure that the Client’s goals and objectives are achieved. He received a Bachelor of Architecture in 1975 from Louisiana State University where he participated in the New Orleans Design Study in Urban and Community Design. Mr. Franco served as the 2002 President for the Mississippi Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. He is also a LEED® AP and directs the firm’s environmentally friendly design initiative.

Paul J. Bagley, AIA, NCARB provides JH&H with design, production and coordination of construction documents and on-site construction administration. Mr. Bagley has specialized in municipal, education, religious and government/military design. He is familiar with the planning and design requirements for technical and complex projects. Mr. Bagley has served as Project Manager for the Multi-Million Dollar U.S. Navy contract, which includes several high-tech computer and multi-use facilities for the military. He is a graduate of Mississippi State University School of Architecture and certified with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. Mr. Bagley has been associated with JH&H since 1987.

A. Bruce Wood, AIA, NCARB is a Principal with JH&H and serves as a Project Architect responsible to the Client for the overall project design and programming. Mr. Wood is a graduate of the School of Architecture at Mississippi State University. He has been associated with JH&H since 1989 and has over 20 years of diversified experience. His experience concentrates on University, academic, government, municipal, civic and religious projects. Mr. Wood has served as the 2002 Treasurer for the Mississippi Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and in 2006, served as the AIA President. In addition, Mr. Wood serves on the Advisory Council for the School of Architecture at Mississippi State University.

Randall A. Lewis, CSI, AIA  has been with JH&H since 1989 and has contributed to the success of several projects such as: the Athletic Center located at the University of Southern Mississippi, Alcorn State University’s Dining Hall, Erma Lee Barber Hall on the campus of East Central Community College, the Vicksburg Convention Center and the Ocean Research Lab at the Stennis Space Center in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. Mr. Lewis is a graduate from Mississippi State University where he received a Bachelor of Architecture. He is an active member of the Mississippi Chapter of The Construction Specifications Institute, where he also served as past president. Mr. Lewis has also served as Regional Committee Chairman to the Gulf States Region of The Construction Specifications Institute.
