Celebrating 35 Years

Celebrating in the Conference Room

On July 1, 1976, Bob Harrison, AIA offered a young Carl Franco his first “real” job out of architecture school. Carl had been searching since graduation seven months earlier.

Thirty-five years later, Bob Harrison joined the JH&H staff in the conference room for a surprise celebration in honor of Carl’s years with the firm. Coffee, lemonade and Italian cream cake were served, and the staff enjoyed hearing stories from Bob Harrison, Jackie Franco and Bruce Wood about the early years at JH&H Architects. Mr. Harrison commented that hiring Mr. Franco was one of the best decisions he has ever made. Thirty-five years later, we at JH&H are inclined to agree.

JH&H Architects | Planners | Interiors PA was established in 1964 as Jernigan and Hawkins. The name changed to Jernigan, Hawkins and Harrison in 1966, after Bob Harrison joined the group. Today, JH&H provides architectural design, planning and interior design services under the guidance of the four principals – Carl Franco, Paul Bagley, Randall Lewis and Bruce Wood.
