The Administrative Office for Madison County is a perfect addition to Canton's historic downtown Square and the administrative functions of the country government. The new addition connects to the existing Chancery Building that faces the Square and provides a more inviting entry for the public to carry out county business. The slope of the site provides the opportunity to create parking under the building and storage space. The 28,000 square foot building provides the Board of Supervisors with a new Boardroom, Supervisor Offices, Administrative Offices, Chancery Clerk, Planning & Zoning, and Tax Assessor. Additionally, space in the existing Chancery Building has been renovated to meet the needs of other departments.
